Class of 1995

Class of 1995

The Fatima Class of 1995 enjoyed its 20-year reunion on November 7th 2015, starting at the Town bar, before migrating nearer to Tragarete Road to the pavement outside of Earth. It was this Class’ first Reunion, and had good representation from each of the four class-groups, with over 30 alumni in attendance in total. Recognition was given to the Old Boy who arrived first (Rishi Mahadeo), who arrived last (Fane Lum Lock), who stayed the shortest time (Damian Goofy Evans – 3 minutes), the man with the most kids (Christopher Abellard – four), the man who proposed the idea (Kevin Finch), the man who resembled the Honorable Prime Minister (Ian Thomas) and thankfully, none of the attendees had been married more than once … yet.

Steady updates including a roll call and pictures were provided on the Event’s homepage on Facebook, for those who were invited but could not attend. Unforgettable events include when Cleon, Ian and Rion tried to introduce themselves to a Carib girl, who did not believe that was truly their names. It was an evening full of lots of beers and a few other drinks, featured two hearty recitals of the school song, one at each venue, with the second rendition posted on the FOBA’s Facebook page, and concluded at around midnight, having started at around 5.30pm.

Almost all that attended suggested that another be held immediately next year, with enough notice for those who live abroad to schedule their next trip to Trinidad to coincide with the reunion.
