Forty six years ago some 11 year old boys entered Fatima College and they have never left. The school records would show that most of them graduated from Form 6 in 1975. But the Class of 1975 has managed to stay together after all these years, meeting on a monthly basis for the sole purpose of doing good works for the community in general and their Alma Mater in particular.

Recently, the Class of ’75 held a Bingo to raise funds for the new school wing which was blessed by Bishop Robert Llanos, the Auxiliary Bishop for the Archdiocese of Port of Spain, and also a Fatima alumnus. Acting school principal, Fr. Gregory Augustine, thanked all who supported in this endeavour, especially as the wing was built in just over three months and completed under budget.

“Although the wing is completed the loans that were taken to complete the project still need to be paid and fundraising is still priority number one, so all help and support is needed.”, said Dwight Andrews, President of the Fatima Old Boys’ Association.
